For this sophisticated black tie affair, I collaborated with the couple to craft one-of-a-kind Save the Dates to set a sophisticated yet romantic tone.

A total of 70 scrolls were made by hand, starting with the painting of the wooden spools. Luxurious watercolor paper was used for the scroll, onto which I wrote each message by hand in a lightly flourished calligraphy script. The final touch was the bouquet of tiny white paper flowers to bring the total height to just over two inches tall.

Once wrapped and sealed with a black satin bow, each guest received their box by hand or by post. ⇢ read more
