Weddings

Emily & James

This glamorous affair held in the grand and expansive New York Public Library was peppered with the quirky and personal touches of the bride and groom.

Using scans of botanical illustrations from 19th century Victorian books, we created several pieces of event stationery that doubled as a beautiful wayfinding system for the guests.

The illustrations were labeled by hand in custom mixed green ink, using fanciful block capitals inspired by the original lettering in the book. Folded place and escort cards were written in elegant Spencerian script calligraphy in grey, with the same block capitals on the inside designating the table name and number.
